Battery Thermoguard Cover - Removal

REMOVAL

WARNING: To protect eyes from battery acid, a suitable pair of industrial grade safety glasses, should be worn when removing or servicing a battery.

WARNING:
To protect the hands from battery acid, a suitable pair of industrial grade heavy duty rubber gloves, should be worn when removing or servicing a battery. Safety glasses also should be worn.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the battery, Battery - Removal.
3. Carefully lift the thermal guard off over the battery taking care not to tear it.
