Child Seat - Installation

CHILD SEAT










1. Position the child restraint seat module (2) to the seat back (1) and the interlock lever (3)
.









2. Install the hinge interlock lever (2) located near the seat back frame rail (4) at the rear of the seat back (3) over the outboard child restraint seat hinge (1).










3. Install the screws attaching the child restraint seat module (1) to seat back frame lower rail (2).










4. Install the screws attaching top of child restraint seat module (2) to seat back frame upper rail. Tighten to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.).
5. Position the upper bolster (1) to the child restraint seat module.










6. Install the push-in fasteners attaching upper bolster (1) to the child restraint seat module (2).
7. Return the seat back to the folded position.
8. Install the seat back cover Seat Back Cover - Installation.

NOTE: The recliner should not operate with the child seat deployed.

9. Check belt for smooth operation and verify interlock operation.
