Power Sliding Door Module, Left (PSDML) and Right (PSDMR)

U0431-IMPLAUSIBLE DATA RECEIVED FROM FCM



- When Monitored:
Whenever the battery is connected.

- Set Condition:
When the module receives mixed messages from the TIPM, this code will set.

Possible Causes:

1. DTC PRESENT

1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from On to Off.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display U0431-IMPLAUSIBLE DATA RECEIVED FROM FCM?

No

- Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for an intermittent condition.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test

Yes

- Go To 2

2. POWER SLIDING DOOR MODULE

1. With the scan tool, read DTCs in several other modules.

Does the scan tool display U0431-IMPLAUSIBLE DATA RECEIVED FROM FCM in other modules?

No

- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test

Yes

- Replace the TIPM in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
