Front Map Door Lamp

DESCRIPTION

The courtesy/map lamps that are in located in the front doors provide illumination through the use of a light emitting diode (LED). They are replaced only as an entire unit. The LED units have two distinct lighting characteristics. There is a green illumination that will be on all of the time as long as the vehicle is running and the headlamps are on , and it will be shining downward into the map pocket area. The courtesy illumination provided is a white light that will illuminate when the door is opened and will time out when the door is closed. The courtesy illumination can also be activated when the interior lights are turned on by the head lamp switch.
