Ignition System: Description and Operation

The "Electronic Fuel Control System" for Federal and California and "Electronic Spark Control" for Canada consists of a "Spark Control Computer, SCC", various engine sensors, and a specially calibrated carburetor and either a dual pick-up or single pick-up distributor. The function of the system is to provide a way for the engine to burn a correct fuel mixture.
