SYMPTOM
A/C CONTROL MODE DOOR INPUT OPEN OR SHORTED TO BATTERY (MANUAL A/C)

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The BCM detects an abnormally high voltage on its mode request input.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Mode switch MUX circuit shorted to battery
- Mode switch MUX circuit open
- Control head - mode MUX open
- Body control module - Mode switch MUX open
