SYMPTOM
P1478-BATTERY TEMP SENSOR VOLTS OUT OF LIMIT

WHEN MONITORED
Ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The PCM monitors the Ambient Air Temp Sensor voltage, if the the PCM sees the voltage go above 4.9 volts or below 0.1 volt for more than 3.2 seconds the DTC will set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Ambient air temperature sensor voltage below 1.0 volts
- Sensor ground circuit high resistance
- Ambient air temperature sensor signal circuit high resistance
- PCM
