Removal and Installation

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION





CAUTION:
- For vehicles with ABS, be careful when handling the projection at the tip of the speed sensor so as not to damage it by striking against other parts.
- The front hub assembly should not be dissembled. When removing the front hub assembly, the wheel bearing inner race may be left at the spindle side. In this case, always replace the front hub assembly, otherwise the hub will damage the oil seal, causing oil leaks or excessive play.

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

CAUTION: Do not apply pressure to
wheel bearing by the vehicle weight to avoid possible damage when drive shaft nut is loosened.

<> TIE ROD END DISCONNECTION





CAUTION:
- Do not remove nut from ball joint but loosen it and use special tools instead to avoid possible damage to ball joint threads.
- Hang special tools with ropes to prevent them from falling.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

CAUTION: Do not apply pressure to wheel bearing by the vehicle weight to avoid possible damage when castle nut is loosened.

1. Direct the flat side of a washer to a drive shaft nut to install





2. Tighten driveshaft nut fully with special tools.
