Horizontal Motor

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front seat.




3. Disconnect the horizontal motor harness connector (1) or the front riser motor harness connector (2).




4. Remove the horizontal motor attachment screws (1) or the front riser motor attachment screws (2).

5. Remove the horizontal motor or the front riser motor.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the horizontal motor or front riser motor so the notch (3) is aligned as shown.




2. Install the horizontal motor attachment screws (1) or front riser motor attachment screws (2) and torque to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the horizontal motor or front riser motor harness connector.
4. Install the front seat.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
