EGR Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

EGR AT Intake Solenoid:

1. Remove the 2 bolts from tube flange at rear of intake manifold.

Tube Bracket:

2. Remove the tube bracket bolt.

EGR Valve And Tube:

3. Remove the 2 flange bolts at EGR valve.

INSTALLATION
1. Inspect rubber silicone seals on intake manifold end of EGR tube.

EGR Tube Gasket:

EGR AT Intake Manifold:

2. Install upper tube into the intake manifold, being careful that the silicone rubber seals are correctly installed and undamaged.
3. Tighten the EGR upper tube to EGR valve bolts to 11.3 N.m (100 in. lbs.) torque.

Tube Bracket:

4. Install the EGR tube bracket bolt and tighten.
