Front Door - Removal

REMOVAL






1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Open the front door.

3. Using masking tape or equivalent, apply a strip of tape (1) to the rear fender edge near the door for protection.

4. Support the door with a suitable lifting device.






5. Disengage the front door wire harness boot (5) and connector from the outside of the lower A-pillar.

6. Disconnect the door wire harness connectors.

7. Remove the hinge to door nuts (1, 2) from the door.

8. Remove the hinge to door bolts (3, 4) from the door.






NOTE: Have an assistant to aid in removal/installation.

9. Remove the door from the hinges by pulling straight out.
