Rear Bow Latch Adjustment






REAR BOW LATCH ADJUSTMENT

NOTE: There may be shims mounted behind the rear bow striker. Be sure to save the shims and reinstall them properly.


NOTE: The hydraulic system will automatically lose hydraulic pressure after approximately 10 minutes. To regain hydraulic pressure, press the convertible top switch once when the convertible top buzzer sounds.





1. Close the convertible top.

2. Open the convertible top just until the rear bow is high enough to allow room for access.

3. Loosen the rear bow striker bolts.

4. Insert Special Tool 9127 Rear Bow Striker Adjustment Tool (1) into the latch keyhole in the tonneau cover (2).




5. Lower the rear bow and align the striker (1) so that it fits through the special tool (2) without touching on any edge.

NOTE: Hold the striker securely while tightening the bolts.

6. Tighten the striker bolts.

7. Remove Special Tool 9127 Rear Bow Striker Adjustment Tool.

8. Operate the convertible top and check for proper alignment.
