Rear Bow

REAR BOW





NOTE: Hydraulic pressure in the convertible top system may deplete after 10 minutes. To prevent the top from lowering, press the convertible top switch momentarily after the system beeps. This will re-energize the hydraulic system.

1. Move the rear bow to an upright position.

2. Disconnect the rear defogger electrical connectors from the left and right side of the rear window.

3. Remove the top cloth (1) from the rear bow (2) by pulling down on the cloth, starting from the front edge.

4. Remove the rear bow weatherstrip.




5. Remove the wiring harness (1) from the stay strap (2) and the rear bow.




6. Drill out the rivets (1) holding the support belts in place.




7. Remove the screws (1) holding the rear bow (2) in place.

8. Remove the stay straps from the rear bow, and remove the rear bow from the vehicle.

9. Remove the rear bow striker from the rear bow.
