Checking Door Glass Adjustment (Convertible)
CHECKING DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT (Convertible)
1. Raise the door glass (1) all the way up. There should be a 1 mm (0.04 in.) bulge (3) in the rubber above the upper edge (2) of the sealing mirror triangle (4).
2. Using a feeler gauge (1), check the gap between from the top of the window (3) to the convertible top (2) when the door is latched in the first catch position. The gap must be at least 2 mm (.080 in.) from the upper edge of the glass to the convertible top as shown.
3. Using a ruler (1), measure the distance from the face of the glass (2) to the outer edge of the convertible top (3) with the door latched in the second catch position (closed tight). The face of the window glass must be 10 mm (0.4 in.) from the outer edge of the convertible top.
4. If it is determined that the window must be adjusted. Refer to Adjustments.
