1. Install the 2 mounting bolts into the EGR valve and new gasket.




2. Loose install the EGR valve to cylinder head.

3. Loose install the EGR tube to EGR valve.

4. Install and tighten EGR tube bracket bolt.

5. Tighten the EGR valve bolts to cylinder head to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).

6. Tighten the EGR tube to EGR valve bolts to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.).




7. Connect and lock the electrical connector for the EGR valve.

8. Connect negative battery cable.
