Accelerator Pump

Fig. 3 Accelerator pump adjustment:

1. Back off curb idle adjusting screw, completely closing throttle valve, thenopen choke valve, allowing throttle valves to seat in bores. Ensure accelerator pump ``S'' link is located in outer hole or pump arm.
2. Turn curb idle adjusting screw until screw contacts stop, then rotate screwtwo additional turns.
3. Measure distance between air horn surface and top of accelerator pumpshaft, (D) Fig. 3. Refer to Adjustment Specifications Chart.
4. Adjust by loosening pump arm adjusting screw, (F) Fig. 3, and rotatingsleeve until proper dimension is obtained. Tighten adjusting screw.
