Technical Service Bulletin #14-17-83 authorized the replacement of the ESA/EFC computer to correct a driveability problem.


After a vehicle is equipped with one of these new computers 4 inches of vacuum must be applied to check the operation of the 02 feedback system as outlined in the Driveability Test Procedures.


Failure to use this vacuum specification will give incorrect results and cause unnecessary replacement of the computer.
