Electronic Spark Control Module: Description and Operation

The spark control computer controls the air fuel ratio of the carburetor and the ignition timing. The computer receives signals from various sensors and processes them to determine the air fuel ratio of the carburetor and ignition timing.
There are as many as six types of sensors which can be used to supply the spark control computer with the necessary information needed to fire the spark plugs at the precise moment and, with the feedback carburetor, change the air-fuel ratio.
