1. Remove transaxle as outlined under "Manual Transaxle, Replace" procedure.
2. Mark relationship between clutch cover and flywheel for reference during assembly, then install a suitable clutch disc aligning tool through clutch disc hub to prevent clutch disc from falling and damaging faces.
3. Gradually loosen clutch cover attaching bolts, then remove pressure plate, cover assembly and disc from flywheel.
4. Remove clutch release shaft and slide release bearing assembly off input shaft seal retainer. Remove fork from release bearing thrust plate.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Align reference marks made during disassembly, then using a clutch disc alignment tool, install disc, plate and cover to flywheel. Refer to torque specifications.
