Choke Rod Fast Idle Cam

Fig. 7 Choke rod fast idle cam adjustment:

1. Attach a suitable rubber band to green tang of intermediate choke shaft as shown in Fig. 7.
2. Open throttle to allow choke valve to close.
3. Set up angle gauge and set angle to specifications.
4. Place cam follower on to second highest step of cam against rise of high step.
5. If cam follower does not contact cam, turn fast idle screw until it does.
6. Adjust by bending tang of fast idle cam until bubble is centered.
