DR-28D A/C Input Signal to Computer

This test must be done with a WARM engine.
1. With engine at normal operating temperature, turn ignition switch off and disconnect 14-way computer electrical connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between cavity 7 of the 14-way connector and ground.
3. Ensure A/C button is Off, then turn ignition switch to the Run position.
4. If voltmeter reads within one volt of battery voltage, replace computer. Before replacing the computer, ensure terminal in cavity 7 is not damages.
5. If voltmeter does not read within one volt of battery voltage, locate and repair open in wire between cavity 7 of the connector and A/C button.
