Cleaning & Inspection

1. Clean all carburetor metal parts with suitable solvent. The electric solenoid, rubber components, plastic components, diaphragm, pump plunger, pump stem seal should not be put in an immersion type cleaner or damage will result. The plastic cam on the air valve shaft and the bushing in the fuel bowl will withstand normal cleaning. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
2. Inspect upper and lower surfaces of carburetor casting for damage.
3. Inspect holes in levers for excessive wear or out-of-round conditions. Replace worn parts as required.
4. Inspect plastic components for cracks and/or damage. Replace any damaged part as required.
