Mopar Identified Radios (Manufactured For Mopar By Clarion CO., LTD.)
Mopar identified radios, sometimes used as an alternate radio in production and also sold by Parts Supply (Mopar), are warranted on an exchange basis only. The listed toll-free numbers are to be used for Mopar identified radio warranty exchange.
Radio Repair or Exchange Program
Mopar identified radios are serviced on an exchange basis by Mopar Radio Service Centers.
NOTE: MOPAR IDENTIFIED RADIOS HAVE THE "MOPAR" LOGO ON THE FACE PLATE OF THE RADIO. ADDITIONALLY, THE LABEL AFFIXED TO THE RADIO CHASSIS WILL BE IDENTIFIED WITH "SUPPLIER 42831."
Only radios identified as above are serviced by Mopar Radio Service Centers under these procedures. Refer to the listing on page 17 to determine proper radio type.
1. When the cause of the trouble is definitely traced to the radio receiver, obtain the following information:
^ Dealer code
^ Dealer name and address
^ Dealer telephone number
^ Radio description (radio type)
^ Customer name
^ Customer vehicle model year and type
^ VIN
^ In-service date (or radio installation date if different from inservice date)
2. Telephone the following toll-free number:

3. Provide the person who answers the telephone the information that you obtained in Step 1, along with a description of the owner's complaint.
4. The Mopar Radio Service Center will ship you an exchange unit, freight prepaid, usually within a 24-hour period.
5. Upon receipt of the proper exchange unit, contact your customer and arrange to exchange his/her radio for the exchange unit shipped to you by the Mopar Radio Service Center.
6. Ship the defective unit, in the carton supplied with the exchange unit, to the Mopar Radio Service Center whose address appears on the "Radio Exchange Form" accompanying the exchange unit.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT RETURN MOUNTING PARTS. THESE SHOULD BE RETAINED BY THE DEALER TO BE REINSTALLED IN THE CAR.
7. The defective unit must be returned, accompanied by the green copy of the "Radio Exchange Form" supplied with the exchange unit.
The returned part number must match the part number shown on the "Radio Exchange Form."
A section entitled "Dealer Comments" is included on the "Radio Exchange Form" for any information you may wish to include with the returned unit.
All defective units must be returned, UPS surface prepaid, to the Mopar Radio Service Center within 15 days of receipt of the exchange unit. Failure to return a defective unit will result in your parts account being charged for the value of the unit. In addition, failure to return defective units will result in exclusion from further participation in the exchange program.
All units must be insured for the minimum dealer net value for that unit.
NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT SHIPMENT BE MADE PREPAID, AS ALL COLLECT SHIPMENTS WILL BE REFUSED AND RETURNED TO THE DEALER. ALWAYS BE SURE THAT ONLY MOPAR IDENTIFIED RADIOS ARE RETURNED TO THE MOPAR RADIO SERVICE CENTER.
8. Prepaid transportation and insurance receipts must be retained by the dealer and the prepaid freight expense submitted, using Labor Operation No. 95-30-00-45, Electronic Component Freight and Insurance, in the sublet area of the repair claim.
