6D Ignition Primary Circuit to Computer

1. Disconnect 10-way connector from computer and connect a voltmeter between cavity 1 and ground.
2. Turn ignition switch to Run position.
3. If voltmeter reading is within one volt of battery voltage, check terminals in cavity 1 for poor connection. If terminal connection is good, replace computer.
4. If voltmeter reading is not within one volt of battery voltage, repair primary circuit to ignition switch for open or short circuit.
