Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Testing and Inspection

Exc. 1986-87 Mini-Vans/Wagons

1. Disconnect double connector at switch pigtail, then connect a suitable 12 volt power source to either terminal.
2. Connect a suitable test lamp to other terminal and ground. Test lamp should illuminate when brake pedal is in normal position and go off when brake pedal is depressed 1/2 to 3/8 inch maximum.
