4B Checking Engine Timing

1. Connect timing device to engine, and set timing to 10°BTDC while cranking engine.
2. If engine starts, reset timing to specifications.
3. If engine does not start, remove distributor cap and crank engine to ensure rotor is turning and is indexed, then check compression and valve timing.
