SYMPTOM/CONDITION
An intermittent loss of engine power may occur during slow speed deceleration particularly during hot, humid weather. The condition is most likely to occur on new (green) engines and is aggravated by air conditioning and/or power steering pump load.

1 Engine Controller (SMEC) PN 5234010
1 Authorized Modification Label PN 4275086

REPAIR PROCEDURE
This procedure involves installing a revised engine controller.
1. Replace the existing engine controller (SMEC) with the new engine controller (SMEC), PN 5234010, using the procedure outlined in the service manual..
