Concealment Plug Removal

Fig. 11 Concealment plug removal. 1984-86 carburetor:

1. Remove air cleaner, then disconnect all hoses from front of carburetor base.
2. Center punch at a point 1/4 inch from end of mixture screw housing.
3. Drill through at punch mark using a 3/16 inch drill bit, Fig. 11.
4. Pry out concealment plugs and save for reuse, then install hoses and air cleaner.
