On vehicles equipped with the 4-156 engine, a sub EGR control valve is included in the EGR system. This valve, Fig. 43, closely modulates EGR flow in response to throttle valve opening. The valve is an integral part of the carburetor and is directly opened and closed through linkage connected to the throttle valve.
