Choke Vacuum Kick

Fig. 8 Choke vacuum kick adjustment:

1. Attach rubber band to green tang of intermediate choke as shown in Fig. 8.
2. Open throttle to allow choke valve to close.
3. Install gauge and set to specifications.
4. Using tool C-4207A or equivalent, apply 18 inches Hg to choke diaphragm nipple. The air valve rod must not restrict plunger from retracting completely. If necessary, bend rod to permit full plunger travel. Final rod clearance must be set after vacuum kick setting has been completed.
5. With at least 18 inches Hg still applied, adjust by bending link as indicated to center bubble.
