Test 5 - Pick-Up Coils Continuity Check

Testing Resistance Of Between Cavities 4 And 5:

Testing Resistance Of Both Pick-Up Coils:

1. Turn ignition switch OFF and with an ohmmeter check resistance between cavities 4 and 5 of ECU harness connector. It should be between 150 and 900 ohms.
- If resistance is between 150 and 900 ohms, refer to TEST 6.
- If resistance is not between 150 and 900 ohms, disconnect the pick-up leads. Measure the resistance of the pick-up coils, if not 150 to 900 ohms replace and refer to TEST 6.
