Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Description and Operation

Fuel Delivery System:

The fuel delivery system consists of the fuel tank, a mechanical fuel pump driven by the camshaft, a fuel filter with a vapor separator, a four barrel carburetor and associated lines and hoses. Fuel is pumped from the fuel tank by the fuel pump, through the fuel filter and to the carburetor. Fuel vapor is returned to the fuel tank via a return line from the fuel filter.
