This reminder system uses ignition on time to calculate maintenance intervals. On front wheel drive vans less tachometer, the module is located in the upper center of the instrument cluster behind the fuel gauge. On front wheel drive vans with tachometer, the module is located behind the tachometer. On Dakota, the module is located behind the instrument panel on a bracket below the headlamp switch. On rear wheel drive vans, the module is located on or near the brake pedal support. On D and W Series pickup trucks and Ramcharger models, the module is located to the right of the glove compartment.

RESET PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition key on.
2. Insert a small screwdriver into small hole on module case and close switch.
3. Turn ignition key off.
4. Remove module from bracket.
5. Remove module battery cover and install a replacement 9 volt battery (if equipped).
6. Reinstall module on mounting bracket.
