Choke Unloader (Plug Gauge Method)

Choke Unloader Adjustment (Plug Gauge Method):

1. Attach a rubber band to the green tang of the intermediate choke shaft. Open the throttle to allow the choke valve to close.
2. Hold the secondary lockout lever away from the pin, and hold the throttle lever in the wide open position.
3. Apply a slight opening pressure on the choke blade and insert the specified plug gauge between the top of the choke blade and the air horn casting, refer to SPECIFICATIONS for correct plug gauge based upon carburetor number.
4. Make the adjustment by bending the tang of the fast idle lever until a slight drag is felt when the gauge is removed. Remove the plug gauge and the rubber band.
