Secondary Lockout Adjustment

Secondary Lockout Adjustment:

1. To set the secondary lockout lever adjustment, close the choke valve, and the throttle valve. Insert a .015 in. plug gauge as shown.
2. Make the first adjustment by bending the pin to achieve a .015 in. clearance.
3. To set the secondary lockout opening clearance, hold the choke valve wide open by pushing down on the tail of the fast idle cam. Insert the .015 in. plug gauge as shown.
4. Make the adjustment by filing the end of the pin to achieve a .015 in. clearance. Clean the area of burrs, and remove the plug gauge.
