F VAC Solenoid Circuit For A Short In the ECM

1. Turn ignition switch off and disconnect 60-way connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter to X36 tan/red wire in cavity No. 53 of 60-way connector and ground, then turn ignition switch to Run.
3. If voltmeter is reading battery voltage, defective logic board, replace SMEC.
4. If voltmeter is reading between 0 and 1 volt, proceed to Step G.
