3 Testing the Speed Control Switch

1. Connect diagnostic readout box to the engine harness connector and select test "Read Input States," then choose "Speed Control On/Off."
2. Move speed control switch On and Off.
3. If diagnostic readout box does not read input low then high, proceed to Test 5.
4. If diagnostic readout box reads input low then high, choose "Speed Control Set" and push the set button On and Off.
5. If diagnostic readout box does not read input low then high, proceed to Test 7.
6. If diagnostic readout box reads input low then high, choose "Speed Control Resume" and push the resume switch On and Off.
7. If diagnostic readout box does not read input low then high, proceed to Test 6.
8. If diagnostic readout box reads input low then high, while still in resume test, push set switch On and Off.
9. If diagnostic readout box does not read input low then high, replace speed control switch.
10. If diagnostic readout box reads input low then high, proceed to Test 4.
