Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters

The control unit is constantly applied by electric power and voltage through No. 1 fuse. When ignition switch is turned on, IG1 flows electric current to fuse No. 7, warning light, control unit and ground. The warning light turns on for about two seconds and then turns off. IG2 is to supply electric power and voltage to the control unit through fuse No. 20. Refer to SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DIAGRAMS for wiring diagram.
1. Check voltage at terminal 1 of power supply.
2. With ignition switch On or Off, terminal 1 should read battery voltage.
3. Check voltage at terminal 2 of power supply.
4. With ignition switch in the Off position, voltage reading should be zero.
5. With ignition switch in the On position, battery voltage should be read.
6. With ignition switch in the start (ST) position, voltage reading should be zero.
