DR-19H Heated Air Intake System

Complete Driveability Test 17-Step G, before proceeding.
This test must be performed with engine at NORMAL operating temperature.
1. With engine warm, disconnect air duct from air cleaner snorkel.
2. Disconnect vacuum supply hose to heated air intake system air temperature sensor.
3. Connect an auxiliary vacuum supply to the air temperature sensor and attempt to apply vacuum to the sensor.
4. If vacuum does not hold and heated air door is open, proceed to Test 20 for Federal models, or Test 21 for California models.
5. If vacuum holds, replace air temperature sensor.
6. If heated air door does not open, repair or replace door as required.
