NS-12A Fault Code 27 Fuel Control Circuit

Complete No Start Test 9-Step A, before proceeding.
1. Connect diagnostic readout box to engine harness connector, then place ignition switch in Off position.
2. Disconnect 60-way connector from SMEC and connect one end of a jumper wire to cavity 33. Separately connect another jumper wire to cavity 32. Join both to one common jumper wire.
3. Turn ignition switch to Run position, then press the ATM button on readout box.
4. Connect, then disconnect other end of jumper wire to positive battery post while observing fuel injector.
5. If fuel is spraying from both injectors, replace SMEC. Inspect K16 terminal in cavity No.33 for damage before replacing SMEC.
6. If no fuel is spraying from one or both injectors, proceed to Step B.
