SEAT BELT SYSTEM
This seat belt system features an end-release buckle. The release button moves parallel to the belt webbing. The buckle has a red release button with the word PRESS embossed on the end to indicate direction of operation.
The outboard seat belts feature is that the latch plate is free running rather than adjustable.
The center front belt operates in the same manner as present passenger vehicle belts, but incorporates the end release buckle described above.
Be sure when installing belts or retractors that the bolts are torqued to 350 in. lbs. +/- 150 in. lbs. (40 Nm +/- 17 Nm) for safety requirements.
Safety belts should be worn whenever the vehicle is in motion. The operation and mounting of the belts should not be tampered with at any time.
