Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

The steel fuel tank, mounted under the rear of the vehicle, has provisions for fuel expansion and is fitted with inlets and an outlet for fuel supply, vapor recovery and fuel return. It is equipped with a fuel pickup filter (screen type) mounted on the drain plug and houses the fuel gauge sending unit.
