Restricted air cleaner - Replace air cleaner element
Idle speed and mixture misadjusted - Perform fuel mixture and idle adjustments.
Fuel filter clogged or dirty - Replace fuel filter.
Float level misadjusted - Perform float level adjustment.
Vacuum hose/carburetor/manifold leak - Check for and repair vacuum leak, retorque carburetor and manifold if necessary.
Main metering jets dirty/incorrect size - Verify correct size jets, clean as necessary.
Idle system passages plugged - Inspect and clean idle passages as necessary.
