1. Connect battery and test light to intermittent relay as shown.
2. Insert a variable resistor (0-50 k ohms) between terminal 8 and battery ground.
3. Connect battery ground terminal to terminal 7 The condition is normal if the test light illuminates at the same time in accordance with value of variable resistance, stops illumination approximately 1.5-10.5 seconds and then illuminates approximately 1 seconds repeatedly.
