1 Spark at Plugs & Coil & Fuel at Throttle Body

Perform VISUAL INSPECTION before proceeding.
1. Turn ignition Off and disconnect any spark plug wire, then insert an insulated screwdriver in terminal.
2. Hold screwdriver near (1/4 inch) a good ground. SMEC damage may occur if held more than a 1/4 inch. Observe spark while cranking engine. When checking spark, consider one or two sparks as no spark.
3. If there is a good spark, proceed to Test 2.
4. If there is a poor spark or no spark, proceed as follows:
a. Disconnect ignition coil wire at distributor and hold 1/4 inch from ground, then crank the engine and check spark.
b. If there is a good spark, repair secondary ignition system (distributor cap and/or rotor).
c. If there is a poor spark or no spark, remove and test ignition coil wire.
d. If coil wire is defective, replace coil wire.
e. If coil wire is not defective, install coil wire and ground distributor end of wire before proceeding.
5. Remove air cleaner, then crank engine and check for injector fuel.
6. If fuel is spraying from any injector, proceed to Test 3.
7. If no fuel is spraying from any injector, proceed to Test 10.
8. If fuel is spraying from only one injector, proceed to Test 7.
