Service Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner duct from the Single Module Engine Controller located inside the left front fender.

2. Remove the battery using Service Manual procedures.

3. Remove the two module mounting screws and retain for later use.

4. Remove the 14 and 60 way wiring connectors from the engine controller. Remove the controller and set aside for parts return.

5. Connect the 14 and 60 way wiring connectors to the new engine controller.

CAUTION: Do not remove the grease from the 14 way connector or connector cavity in the controller. The grease is used in order to revent moisture from corroding the terminals. If there isn't at least 1/8 inch of grease on the bottom of the controller connector cavities, apply a liberal amount of Mopar Multi-purpose grease Part Number 2932524 or equivalent over the entire end of the connector plug before reinstalling.

6. Mount the controller inside the left front fender. Install and tighten the two mounting screws removed in Step 3.

7. Reinstall the battery using Service Manual procedures.

8. Install the air cleaner duct onto the controller.
