Shift Cover

1. Shift transmission into neutral, then remove shift cover attaching bolts.
2. Loosen shift cover using two suitable pry bars. Remove cover evenly to avoid damage to cover.

3. Remove shift cover assembly and gasket. On early models a gasket was not used, but it is recommended that a gasket be used when replacing shift cover.
