Fuel Injection Pump Runs Hot

SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION:

The fuel injection pump gets excessively warm while the engine is running. The fuel injection pump should be able to be touched by hand with the engine running at normal operating temperature.




POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION

Blocked overflow orifice ^ Clean overflow orifice.
