Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

Fuel Tank, Exploded View:

The steel fuel tank is mounted under the vehicle. It has provisions for fuel expansion and is fitted with inlets and an outlet for fuel supply, vapor recovery and fuel return. It houses the fuel gauge sending unit and a high pressure electric fuel pump.
