Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the breather hose (3.0L).
3. Disconnect the air flow sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the air cleaner hold down bolts and remove the entire air cleaner assembly.
5. Remove the air cleaner cover.
6. Remove the air flow sensor and gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the air flow sensor in the air cleaner cover.
2. Install the air cleaner cover.
3. Install the air cleaner assembly and tighten the hold down bolts.
4. Connect the air flow sensor electrical connector.
5. Attach the breather hose (3.0L).
6. Connect the negative battery cable and test operation.
